Here you can see a list of our developers with some information about them, for more formal data you can visit the Sourceforge developer page of this project here.
Here is the bio of all our developers (updated on time). Things in parenthesis have been added by Gabriele Dini Ciacci.
A loong story goes here, so I be short (very hard for me). So I will try to tell here a short story of how I have been dropped here by some superior force and that bastard destiny! I was looking for an application like this when I was playing Urban Terror, a Quake III mod, on windows (so years ago). I nicely used Roger Wilco for more than a year, then I moved to linux and discovered Open Source (still ages ago).
I figured out how the closed world was ugly sometimes, ruled by rules that are against themself. Those rules stopped real developemnt to favor the ability to control the power, insted of unleashing it. I'm a scientist. I simply can't accept this. Yes, I'm one that is defined as mad scientist because I never know when unleashing a power is good or not (like the big nuke...). But say that IMO beeing a little E. Fermi can be only an honor (more than half of the power you are using come from nuclear, and nuclear is the cleanest energy ever and if you want hydrogen cars, nuclear is the way to have them). All this mad thinking bringed me to the need to make an open source project that offered a nice app for _everyone_ and not just linux users/experts. Since wasting space and resources is not nice I searched sf.net for a similar dead project and took it mantainership over.
That's the "full" story.
About me? Hoo plz don't ask, telling is a much less than real-time process, if you get what I mean 8)
Please mails are personal things, use the one provided by sf, it will work and developer will get no spam. Thanks

Many small math application I develop local. My aim is to become a Math app developer, this is a long story, take it as it is. Foat (look at sf, for now only my name is there since projcet is dead)
We lack enough intelligence to provide a biography for gros at this time, but we would like to ensure you that the search continues...
Well, I like those introducing rounds where everybody tells about themselves, name, hobbies. I usually say something like "Hi, my name is Benjamin Peter. I am 21 years old, come from Germany and currently I am studying computer science." (Maybe I should write it in a way that I don't have to update it all the time :-) ).
Anyway, even before the start of my studies I was interested in Linux and open source. I always wanted to contribute but never got really into it - until now (and now you'll be never getting out -editor). It started off by joining the linux-wildo channel on freenode and following the discussions and progress of the project - because of my interest in Linux gaming I know the lack of a nice open source voice communication system and I was hoping for wildo to be success. There was my chance to help the project becoming a success and so I had a look at the code and soon found a way to add some improvements.
When I am not working on linux-wildo I like coding small scripts for all sorts of things in Perl, but now in Ruby (If you don't know it, have a look and you will love it - I promise).
Currently I am working on a tool to create an index of CDs and DVDs, which scans the content of the disc and makes the database available via CLI, GUI, http and will have various export possibilities. At the moment it is developed in Ruby.
Here I am talking with other people interested in gaming on Linux, helping out each other. Last year we also participated at the Linuxtag in Germany where we had our own booth.
When it comes to starting a project, I usually ask myself one question: "Is it actually possible?". Then I ignore the answer and start it anyway.
Linux-Wildo is actually an exception to this - in fact, I consider it to be very much possible, but I'm doing my best to come up with stupid ideas to make it more complicated.
Since I wasn't entirely satisfied with the available voice communication programs for various reasons, I decided to make my own. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Linux-Wildo project before starting, and decided that it would make more sense to join an existing project than creating it all from scratch. (The "stumbling" consisted of me trying to find out if there was such a project going on.)
(I like tea btw)
Working on making LW work in Windows.
InsanePack - Trying to figure out a way of using checksums as a viable compression method
(I am also trying to figure out a way of creating an AI capable of proper learning, but that project is currently somewhat inactive)
Scorpyn has also been notorious for owning and using a hotmail account. Can't anyone send him a gmail invite yet?
Eager developer. Likes tea. (Gabriele likes tea too!!)
I'll write a bio later. I'm currently employed as a Customer Service Representative for Hammacher Schlemmer. (He is so busy...)
(Really a lot, he is a bit an "explosive" man. He likes to have 100 things running, like Vanya it's better to omit the list to make it short!)
Thrives on learning New things. Especially computer languages. Enjoy the many facets that the computer programming field yields. Loves contructive critism. Failure doesnt exist only temporary delays to success. I am definatly a solution orientated person. Look for the solution not at the problem. Learning the hard way makes being an expert easy.
Assist porting to Win32 platform
CZBindMaker (Source Forge C# beta) LawFiller (Proprietary C# pre-alpha)
I'm a software engineer for a medium sized vertical market software company in the chemical industry. I use Windows and *nix each day at work, but use a Macintosh at home for various reasons. My specialization there is relational database and systems for organizing data in them. Playing computer games got me involved in this project as there is not really a good voice comm for the Mac that is cross platform. Other activities include coaching my kids soccer and baseball teams based upon the season.
I'm trying to supply aid in making sure that the LW project runs comfortably on Mac OSX boxes. In addition, I can act as a gadabout on network issues as I have a fair amount of experience in that from my work.
